John 4:14 Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst...

Water Pump Project Update

I’ve recently returned from a very fruitful trip to Jordan. Jordan borders Israel, Syria, Iraq and Saudi Arabia and currently is home to over 750,000 refugees. We work closely with and support a ministry that is daily helping to serve their physical as well as spiritual needs. In this photo I’m meeting with a family who had escaped Syria and literally crawled over dead bodies to their safety.

I’m thankful I was able to share the Gospel with them. We’ve been asked to support a Syrian leader (who is a born again Muslim) for $400 a month to cover his transportation so he can continue to lead families to Christ. So far, several hundred have received the Lord and we have great respect for this brother who is preaching the gospel every day. If you’d like to be his financial partner, please let us know or give here now.

While in Jordan we also met with our leader and friend, NS* and his family. They work in Pakistan where in addition to church planting we’ve recently started a water project among some of the most unreached people in that country. Just a few days after my return, NS* sent these precious pictures from the new pump many of you helped to build!

This strategy of providing free flowing water to villages is a key to evangelism as we’ve added value first then the gospel is shared with greater receptivity. This is the model of Jesus in Luke 10… Basically, go to homes, pray for the sick, then declare the kingdom has come!

Would you please pray for us in this strategic work reaching unreached people groups? On a near daily basis I’m presented with extraordinary stories of God’s grace, yet also dire requests for help from many who live and minister in extremely dark places.

For $50 you can provide a portable water filter and for $500-$1,000 range, a permanent well pump…. (Price depends on the depth of the water and what kind of solar motor is used) in a village among unreached people. For $1000 we’ll be able to send a team to help start a church where this well has been placed. It’s all for the sake of reaching the least reached with the Gospel.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. The quickest way to give is online here.

P.S. – As a reminder we’ve also been asked to help support a Syrian evangelist at $400 a month who will start churches and minister to families like the one pictured.
